Lies Upon Lies to Cover-Up Blood on His Hands

Obama told us on September 13th: “Glen and Tyrone had each served America as Navy SEALs for many years, before continuing their service providing security for our diplomats in Libya. They died as they lived their lives — defending their fellow Americans, and advancing the values that all of us hold dear.

Susan Rice, our U.N. Ambassador told us on September 16th: “Well, first of all, we had a substantial security presence with our personnel…with our personnel and the consulate in Benghazi. Tragically, two of the four Americans who were killed were there providing security. That was their function. And indeed, there were many other colleagues who were doing the same with them.”

Both were speaking of the Navy Seals who were murdered in the Benghazi terrorist attack on September 11^th, Woods and Doherty.

On September 20^th we were told by administration officials: “The two former SEALS, Tyrone Woods, 41, and Glen Doherty, 42, were not employed by the State Department diplomatic security office and instead were what is known as personal service contractors who had other duties related to security. They stepped into action, however, when Stevens became separated from the small security detail normally assigned to protect him when he traveled from the more fortified embassy in Tripoli to Benghazi.”

Then, on September 23^rd, we learned that: “Woods and Doherty were killed in the firefight at the annex, according to official reports.”

That annex, some 2 miles away from the Consulate where Ambassador Stevens and State Dept. Official Sean Smith were murdered…WAS ATTACKED IN A SECOND WAVE OF THE TERRORIST ATTACK A COUPLE OF HOURS AFTER THE INITIAL ATTACK.

So…We have gone from…The Navy Seals were a part of Ambassador Stevens’ security detail to…They stepped in to protect Ambassador Stevens when he became separated from his small security detail to…The Navy Seals, Woods and Doherty, we killed at an annex miles away and in a separate wave OF the initial attack.

Why?

My friends and fellow Patriots…It is NOT, as we are now being told, because information regarding the terrorist attack is…”Evolving.”

The, “EVOLVING” information line, like the rest of what we’ve been told…IS YET ANOTHER UNADULTERATED LIE!!!

How Can I Say That With Certitude?

Simple.

It’s called common sense.

We now know that this administration KNEW this was a terrorist attack within 24 hours OF the attack. The State Department, under the guidance of Hillary Clinton would have known FULL WELL who was or, was NOT attached to Ambassador Stevens’ security detail.

That means that the State Department and thus, the administration, before making a single statement regarding this attack,  would have known full well that neither Doherty nor Woods were attached to Ambassador Stevens.

As these Seals were attached to the State Department as “personal service contractors” and were housed in an official “annex”…The State Department and this administration would have known…FULL WELL…that they were killed AT THE ANNEX FROM THE WORD GO!!!

None…NONE…of This Information has…”Evolved.”

How could it?

The FBI…Sent to “investigate” the scene of the attack has YET…AFTER 19 DAYS…to set foot in Benghazi.

We have been told that it is too dangerous for the FBI to get to Benghazi.

That too, we know…is a lie as 3 days AFTER the terrorist attack…CNN REPORTERS WERE THERE…AT THE CONSULATE…WHERE THEY FOUND A HARD COVER JOURNAL CONTAINING 7 PAGES OF HAND WRITTEN NOTES BY AMBASSADOR STEVENS!!!

Here is How it Would Have Come Down.

As the Embassy, the Consulate, the Ambassador and the other 3 who were murdered were a part of the Department of State…HILLARY WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THE LITERAL 3AM CALL!!!

You remember the 3am call. That’s the commercial HILLARY CLINTON USED DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT IN 2008.

She would have been alerted to the initial attack at the Consulate.

She would then have been alerted to the secondary attack at the annex.

Hillary would have then learned that 4 Americans were dead.

Hillary would have been told where they died.

Intell From the Field.

When the Libyan President stated that the attack was terrorism and that al Qaeda was involved…What did the administration say?

That the Libyan President was wrong and that we had better Intell than HE did.

The administration has failed to correct that statement and the FBI we sent to handle the investigation IS NOT EVEN IN BENGHAZI.

Therefore…WE are NOT getting updated Intell or…”EVOLVING” Intell.

So far, the ONLY Intell from the scene of the attack has come from a CNN reporter and THAT Intell shed light on what was known BEFORE the terrorist attack. Ambassador Stevens new al Qaeda was gaining strength, was up to something and he feared that HE, himself, was a target for an al Qaeda hit.

After 3 weeks, in an area one can easily ascertain is rife with looters, how much “evidence” will still be there WHEN or IF the FBI ever MAKES it to the scene of the attack? Any law enforcement agent will tell you that after 24 hours, evidence is greatly diminished or compromised. We’re talking about…456 HOURS AND COUNTING!!!

While the Obama administration is calling it…”E-volving” Intell…I can tell you that what it IS…is…”DE-volving” Intell.

Exposing the Cover-Up.

In the Nixon era, it was intrepid reporting which exposed the Watergate scandal and the resulting cover-up and the entire media of the day jumped all over it. Nixon lied to the American people and eventually was forced to either face impeachment or resign. He chose the latter.

Now, once again, it is intrepid reporting. This time by Fox New and most notably, Kathrine Herridge.

Unlike the 1970’s however, it is ONLY Fox News jumping all over THIS scandle.

So far, nearly ALL that we know as fact has come from Fox News with an assist by the CNN crew which recovered the Stevens Journal. It should be noted however, that after breaking the journal angle, CNN dutifully handed it over to the State Department.

So far, NOTHING we know as fact has come first from Obama or anyone in his administration. NOTHING. That the attack was a terrorist attack…that the Navy Seals were NOT directly attached to the Ambassador’s security detail…That the Seals were murdered in a different location…That al Qaeda was at the root of it all…NONE of it was first admitted to by Obama or his administration and ALL of it…including other recent or attempted attacks in Libya against U.S. Missions, was confirmed BY the administration AFTER they were backed into a corner BY THE FACTS UNCOVERED BY FOX NEWS.

The Missing and Unaccounted For.

Statements like these have gone missing:

“We Got bin Laden!!!”

“Bin Laden’s DEAD and GM’s ALIVE!!!!!”

“Ask bin Laden if HE’S better off than 4 years ago!!!”

Interesting that, just days after the liberal convention where these statements were front and center and after a year of spiking the football…We get attacked…BY al QAEDA…on 9-11.

Obama, in his arrogance and desperate to win an election, reverted to statements such as these to make him appear tough on terrorism.  It backfired. BIG TIME.

Unaccounted for are documents from the consulate. Some  are reported to contain names of Libyans who have been working with Americans.

Remember the good Doctor in Pakistan who helped us to identify bin Laden? WE THREW HIM UNDER THE BUS!!!

Now…We potentially have Libyans who were helping us and who’s names are in the hands of al Qaeda!!

How fortunate for al Qaeda that our FBI has NOT been to Benghazi!!!!!

An Act of Treason???

I’ll say what nobody else seems to want to say…If Libyans in Benghazi were helping us, they undoubtedly know who the al Qaeda elements in Benghazi are and now, 19 days after the attack, Obama has not sent anyone there to either secure that information or protect those people. Their lives are in danger and they now will no longer trust us.

Obama and his administration kill the bad guys so as not to obtain Intell from captures and they leave our Intell ASSETS to the wolves.

According to senior diplomatic sources, as reported by “The Independent,” a UK publication, and others… Our State Department had CREDIBLE information 48 HOURS AHEAD OF THE ATTACK IN BENGHAZI… THAT AMERICANS AND AMERICAN MISSIONS MAY BE TARGETED AND…NOT A SINGLE WARNING WAS GIVEN TO OUR DIPLOMATS IN THE REGION TO GO ON HIGH ALERT OR TO LOCKDOWN THEIR MISSIONS AND RESTRICT PERSONNEL MOVEMENTS!!!

YOU GOT THAT??? NOT ONLY DID WE KNOW WITHIN 24 HOURS THAT IT WAS A TERRORIST ATTACK…WE HAD CREDIBLE INFORMATION…48 HOURS BEFORE…THAT ATTACKS MAY BE IMMINENT…LEADING UP TO THE ANNIVERSARY OF 9-11…AND OBAMA AND HIS ADMINISTRATION…DO NOT ONE SINGLE THING ABOUT IT!!!!!

Obama is not just covering up a failure of security that led to a deadly attack…HE’S COVERING FOR A POLICY WHICH DIRECTLY EMBOLDENS OUR ENEMIES AND MAY WELL HAVE INTENTIONALLY PLACED THE LIVES OF AMERICANS IN AN AL QAEDA RICH REGION IN JEOPARDY!!!

Am I leaping to conclusions here?

Why was our Embassy in the Bahamas more well protected on 9-11-2012 than was our Consulate and our Ambassador in Benghazi on that very same day???

As the World Burns

For the last week, the election debate has been focused on the existential question of how much impact will result from Mitt Romney's "47%" remark. The campaign suffers from a malaise that can only be cured by a real crisis such as Obama replacing Joe Biden with Paris Hilton or Dave Letterman.

In that same week, there's been a steady flow of SGO ("s**t going on," in the comprehensively useful acronym coined by former SEAL Al Clark), events far more important which are going almost unnoticed. Consider just a few.

The treacly flow of information from the Obama administration about the war in Afghanistan is more reminiscent of Vietnam each day. "I think we are on track, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta said last Friday in announcing that the last of our 33,000 "surge" troops have been withdrawn. Panetta also said that the surge had met "…its objectives of reversing the Taliban momentum on the battlefield and dramatically [increasing] the size and capability of the Afghan national security forces."

The latter remark would be comical if it didn't come in the context of cessation of joint operations with Afghanistan forces below the battalion level, resulting from another "green on blue" attack on U.S. troops by the Afghan troops they are supposed to be training. Training operations have been slowed as well, while new "vetting" procedures are used to re-clear Afghans who are supposed to be trainees.

The context includes the Taliban attack on Marine Camp Bastion which resulted in more U.S. deaths and the destruction of so many Harrier aircraft that the Marine air squadron, VMA-211 whose aircraft they were, is now out of action. The last time VMA-211 was combat ineffective was in December 1941 when it was almost wiped out in defense of Wake Island.

The squadron commander, Lt. Col. Christopher "Otis" Raible, and Sgt. Bradley Atwell were killed in the 16 September attack. (Raible was killed while inspecting the flight line at 10 pm, as was his custom. According to an e-mail from a direct source that was forwarded to me, Raible was armed only with a 9mm pistol and died fighting.)

The "green on blue" attacks -- Afghani soldiers and policemen attacking our troops -- account for 51 U.S. deaths so far this year and the frequency of these attacks is increasing.

In Barbara Tuchman's epic history The March of Folly, she recounts that in 1954, the Joint Chiefs of Staff wrote a memorandum for President Eisenhower (which he may have never read). In part, the memo said it was "absolutely essential" to have a "reasonably strong stable civil government in control" in Vietnam. As Tuchman wrote, the memo said that it was "hopeless to expect a United States training mission to achieve success," unless -- in Tuchman's words -- Vietnam "could effectively perform all functions necessary to recruitment and maintenance of its own forces."

The Karzai regime, like Diem and his Vietnamese successors, has utterly failed to perform those functions, with the entirely predictable results that parallel our involvement in Vietnam.

We have been defeated in Afghanistan. Obama has succeeded, with Romney's complicity, in keeping the Afghanistan war out of the campaign debate. Obama's White House has also succeeded in claiming ultimate credit for the SEAL raid that killed Osama bin Laden while, at the same time, leaking an enormous amount of classified information about that operation, going so far as to bring in Hollywood producers of the coming movie about the raid, Zero Dark Early.

Those leaks damaged national security. Alleged leaks by former SEAL "Mark Owens" in his book about the raid,No Easy Day, briefly stirred that concern. But "Owens's" book has done something else. It has angered the SEAL community because it breaches a trust.

Special operators -- SEALs, Army Special Forces, Marine Recon and Air Force special ops -- share a code of silence. It's not like the Mafia's "omerta" code of silence, which is a code of fear, a tyranny. It's a code of honor that compels the spec ops guys to serve without discussing, even with their families, what they do. It's a large element of the pride they take in their job. The pseudonymous "Owens" -- a real hero, a warrior's warrior by all reports -- broke that code. From what I'm hearing, he will be ostracized for violating the code, and he should be.

Though "Owens" will be ostracized, the Mujahedin e-Khalk, an Iranian opposition group, shouldn't be. The MEK was listed as a foreign terrorist organization by Bill Clinton in 1997 as a sop to the Tehran regime, which didn't change its behavior toward us or the MEK.

After the Iraq invasion of 2003, MEK forces were bombed by U.S. forces, surrendered and were disarmed. In captivity, they were designated by the U.S. as "protected persons" under the Geneva Convention. The MEK were transferred to Iraqi custody and have been attacked repeatedly by Iraqi forces. They have also reportedly been deprived of medical supplies and other humanitarian aid. Despite their maltreatment -- and abandonment by America -- the MEK have been a source of valuable intelligence information from inside Iran on the Iranian nuclear weapons program.

Britain and the EU nations removed MEK from their terrorist lists in 2008 and 2009. Now, after a long legal battle, the US State Department is about to delist MEK as a terrorist organization. That is a good step, but what else will State do?

The question is not rhetorical. The MEK members still in Iraq, who may number as many as 3,000, have been relocated in Iraq to Camp Liberty. But they are still vulnerable to attack and -- as the MEK fears most -- to deportation to Iran where they will be imprisoned or murdered. We may not have a strict legal responsibility for their safety, but having declared them "protected" under the Geneva Convention, we have at least a moral responsibility to ensure their safety. That we have not done. As a result, we may be responsible for their eventual massacre.

While all this is going on, wars both large and small are brewing around the world. The Chinese and Japanese dispute the Senkaku Islands off Okinawa, under which are enormous oil and gas reserves. Japan is about to declare clear ownership of the islands, and the Chinese have signaled that war may result if it does. While we sit mute, that dispute could erupt in fighting all too soon. If it does, that war would briefly overshadow the coming war between Israel and Iran.

But it won't overshadow the coming release of about one-third of the terrorists now confined at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The Obama administration is reportedly about to announce the release to Yemen of about 55 of Gitmo's inmates, coming closer to Obama's goal of closing the facility. Will this make us safer? Will Yemen confine these men or release them as so many others have been released once transferred to their native countries?

That question is answered definitively by the recent attack on our consulate in Benghazi, Libya in which Ambassador Stevens and three others were killed. Sufyan Ben Qumu, a leader of the al Qaeda connected Ansar al-Sharia terrorist group, is suspected to have been the planner of that attack. He was a prisoner at Gitmo until he was released to Libya in 2007.

I am confident in predicting that none of these issues will be part of the campaign debate this week or at all before Election Day. Instead, we'll probably be hearing about Mitt Romney's tax returns or Joe Biden's remark that cheerleaders are the best of collegiate athletes. On Saturday, Biden said "They are amazing. You think I'm joking. You think I'm joking. They're almost all gymnasts. The stuff they do on hardwood, it absolutely blows my mind, thinking, you know, they're up there without a net. You know?" Yes, Joe. We know.

The Haaretz Internet site published a survey on Thursday showing that half of Israelis are concerned for the survival of the country in the event of a confrontation with Iran. The public, it appears, isn’t worried any more about the casualty toll that the rockets could produce, or the destruction of our economy. These are small potatoes for the public. According to the poll, we have gone one stage further.

Now the public fears for the actual existence of Israel. It’s possible, according to public opinion, that the State of Israel could cease to exist following this much-hyped war with Iran. In short, the second Holocaust is here. Put out your hand and touch it. Another two or three historic speeches from the prime minister and we are there.

This is the primary achievement of Binyamin Netanyahu’s policy. Panic as diplomacy. Some 64 years of blood, sweat and tears, unprecedented achievements of a state established on the ashes of the Holocaust, which became a regional superpower with huge strength, have gone up in the smoke of rhetoric.

Before his address to the UN General Assembly on Thursday, he could pat himself on the back. The Israeli public has demonstrated that if you repeat something enough times, as exaggerated as it is, it will finally be absorbed. Even though the reality, by the way, is nothing close to the situation he describes.

A war with Iran will not pose any danger to the existence of Israel. Iran, at least for now, does not have the ability to cause Israel significant strategic harm. Its missiles, whose that can penetrate the various defense mechanisms that Israel has developed (which, obviously, no other country has) would cause only limited damage.THIS IS THE LEFTIST LIBERAL PRESS IN ISRAEL ,EXACTLY LIKE THE DELUSIONAL PRESS IN THE US. IN THE US THE PRESS WILL DO ANYTHING TO PROTECT OBAMA AND HIS POLICIES NO MATTER HOW MUCH DANGER IT PUTS OUR COUNTRY THIS IS THE SAME WITH THE ISRAELI LEFT WING PRESS. Hezbollah arsenal would inflict much more damage, but this too would not result in anything we haven’t encountered before.HEZBOLLAH HAS 30,000-50,000 MISSLES POINTED AT ISRAEL. THESE PEOPLE ARE NUTS The 1948-49 War of Liberation was much more dangerous, the Six Day War was much more scary, the surprises of Yom Kippur were much more disastrous, and the second intifada was not a pleasant afternoon stroll either.

Israel knows how to deal with problems, better than any other country in the world. The damage that we can cause to the other party is so much more. Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah knows that he he fires his ammunition at us, Lebanon will be destroyed. They know this in Gaza, too.

And the expected damage in Iran in the case of a confrontation with Israel would be much heavier than the damage caused here.

And yet, half of Israeli citizens, almost 4 million women and men, fear that Israel could stop existing if a war breaks out with Iran. Really.

What is so fateful here? Relations with America. They are really crucial to our future. Without the United States to lean on, without the F-15s and F16s and the jets that go under the radar, the Apache helicopters and the spare parts and the bombs and the missiles from the huge US arsenal that are already here and represent an insurance policy for the future, without the intelligence and the economic deterrent, without the technological and moral support, and without the knowledge of the whole world that America stands behind Israel in every scenario and in any weather, that we and they are one, we really are in existential danger.

It is difficult to imagine Israel in the past few decades without America. It is more important, even, than the Iranian nuclear program. Think about it. It is important in the event that Iran does not acquire nuclear weapons (because this presumably will happen only thanks to America), and it is so much more important if Iran does, ultimately, become a nuclear power (in which case, America’s back will turn into a real rock of our existence).

And it is this, if you haven’t noticed, that Netanyahu is harming. Never has an Israeli prime minister been so unwanted a personality among the US administration as Netanyahu is today.

We can only hope that we will be able to find a way to live with this.

The Fast and Furious Libya Cover-Up

After 18 days of watching the response to the terrorist attack in Libya, I must admit that I am absolutely livid.

What They’re Covering Up.

It’s bad enough that Obama and his administration knew full well that this attack was a terrorist attack and then they lied about what it was for the better part of 2 weeks but, it gets even worse.

I’ll get to the lies later.

Now we discover that, while indeed there had been 4 attacks or attempted attacks on diplomatic missions  in the region leading up to the September attacks…The Consulate in Benghazi had been classified as a “critical threat terrorism or civil unrest posting,” and, stunningly…

Not one single upgrade in security, either physical or in personnel, was done to protect the Benghazi Consulate or the people who were stationed there.

Not one.

In fact Ambassador Stevens, in his personal journal, found by CNN stated that he feared the rise of al Qaeda in the region and believed he was on a hit list.

Now, cables from the Ambassador to the State Department are being sought but, the State Department is dragging their feet in turning those communications over to the Senate.

Why?

Could those communications reveal that Stevens had requested more security…Which was never provided?

Could those communications show much, much more?? Trust me…I’ll get to that!!!

At any rate, the Intell was there, previous attacks or attempted attacks had already occurred and the Ambassador was clearly concerned in the weeks leading to the deadly attack and, on 9-11-12, the anniversary of the worst terrorist attack against the U.S. in history, Ambassador Stevens was on his own. This is a total breakdown in security. TOTAL.

The Lies.

They knew.

Obama and Hillary BOTH knew, within 24 hours of the attack in Benghazi, that our Ambassador, another diplomat and 2 Navy Seals who attempted to come to their defense even though they were NOT assigned to the Ambassador’s detail, we killed in a terrorist attack and that al Qaeda was at the root of that attack.

They knew.

They lied when they stood in the Rose Garden and ignored the attack in Cairo. They knew as they blamed it on some stupid video.

They lied when Obama flew to Vegas to pick up campaign checks.

They lied when they issued a backhanded apology for that stupid video.

They lied while Jay Carney stood in the White House briefing room and told reporters that, “This is a fairly volatile situation, and it is in response not to U.S. policy, not to, obviously, the administration, not to the American people. It is in response to a video – a film – that we have judged to be reprehensive and disgusting. That in no way justifies any violent reaction to it. But this is not a case of protests directed at the United States, writ large, or at U.S. policy. This is in response to a video that is offensive and – to Muslims.”

They lied when they appeared for the photo-op as the bodies of 4 slain Americans returned to Dover AFB and, again, blamed the video.

They lied as our Ambassador to the U.N., Susan Rice, was sent to 5 different Sunday shows to echo the “Blame it on the video” mantra stating: “We believe that folks in Benghazi, a small number of people came to the embassy to – or to the consulate, rather, to replicate the sort of challenge that was posed in Cairo,”

They lied when State Dept. Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said:  “I don’t think we know enough. I don’t think we know enough. And we’re going to continue to assess. She gave our preliminary assessment. We’re going to have a full investigation now, and then we’ll be in a better position to put labels on things, okay?”

They lied when Obama went on Univision and said: “We’re still doing an investigation,” he said. “What we do know is that the natural protests that arose because of the outrage over the video were used as an excuse by the extremists to see if they could directly harm U.S. interests.”

They lied when Obama stood at the United Nations and said:  “That is what we saw play out in the last two weeks, as a crude and disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world.  Now, I have made it clear that the United States government had nothing to do with this video, and I believe its message must be rejected by all who respect our common humanity.”

And where he also said:  “Let Us Remember That Muslims Have Suffered The Most At The Hands Of Extremism.”

They lied when Obama said on “The View”: “We are still doing an investigation,” and to this date, now 18 days after the attack. Not one single “investigator” has been in Benghazi.

The Despicable Behavior.These are NOT misstatements.

This was NOT a case of waiting to gather more information.

These are NOT misleading statements.

These are complete and unadulterated LIES.

Given the recent history of attacks and attempted attacks against U.S. Missions in Libya…On May 22^nd, June 6^th, June 11^th and June 18^th…combined with Ambassador Stevens’ hand written concerns…NO THREAT ASSESSMENT WAS ORDERED OR MADE.

On arguably the MOST dangerous day or Americans in that region, 9-11, The Ambassador and other personnel were left UNPROTECTED in Benghazi Libya.

Within 24 hours of the attack and murders of 4 Americans in Benghazi…INTELL KNEW IT WAS A TERRORIST ATTACK.

The next morning, Obama SKIPS YET ANOTHER DAILY INTELL BRIEFING (we are told he “reads” it) then HE AND HILLARY APPEAR IN THE ROSE GARDEN AND…BLAME A VIDEO.

After the Rose Garden statement…WITH THE BODIES STILL IN LIBYA…OBAMA GOES TO LAS VEGAS FOR A FUND RAISER.

The lies come fast and from all directions AT THE DIRECTION OF THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.

While Obama hangs with Beyonce and Jay-Z…Appears on Letterman and Univision and the View…WE ARE TOLD THE INVESTIGATION IS ONGOING IN BENGHAZI…but…WE FIND OUT THAT THE FBI, NOW SOME 18 DAYS LATER…IS STILL IN TRIPOLI AND HAS YET TO GO TO THE SCENE OF THE TERRORIST ATTACK.

When the interim President of Libya comes forward and says the attack was premeditated and terrorist related and al Qaeda had a hand in it…THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION SAYS WE HAVE BETTER INTELL ON THE GROUND IN LIBYA AND THE LIBYAN PRESIDENT IS WRONG.

While appearing with Letterman…Obama says, “The message we have to send to the Muslim world is we expect you to work with us to keep our people safe,” THUS CHARGING THE VERY PEOPLE WHO ATTACKED OUR CONSULATE AND KILLED 4 AMERICANS INCLUDING OUR AMBASSADOR, WITH KEEPING OUR PEOPLE SAFE…A TASK THAT OBAMA AND HIS ADMINISTRATION FAILED TO DO.

The Bottom Line.

After a gross and complete failure in security, after not recognizing the sever threat posed in Libya on the anniversary of the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history, Obama and his administration went on an offensive of unadulterated lies to cover it up.

The official administration lie, repeated by Obama, Hillary Clinton, Susan Rice and others was that the attack was a spontaneous reaction to a You Tube video.

The reason for the cover-up is clear. With less than 2 months to go before this election and after months of spiking the football over getting bin Laden, with Obama trying to portray himself as tough on foreign policy and even tougher on terrorism, a terrorist attack, on 9-11, in the country in which Obama “led from behind” to oust their dictator would be disastrous.

The fact that the FBI has been holed up in Tripoli rather than investigating the scene of the attack is also telling. The Obama administration claims the situation in Benghazi is too dangerous for the FBI to get in. This, we know, is another unadulterated lie as, 4 days after the terrorist attack, a CNN crew WAS INSIDE the Benghazi Consulate where THEY recovered Ambassador Stevens’ journal.

Were the FBI to actively investigate IN Benghazi, what would they discover?

Quite possibly that the U.S. was attempting to strike some deal with members of…al Qaeda…and that the arms used in the attack were processed TO them BY the United States.

In other words, were there were al Qaeda double agents acting as though they were cooperating with U.S. interests?

According to Intell sources, part of Ambassador Stevens’ mission there WAS outreach to the rebel forces who overthrew Gaddafi and, as we all know, the day after Gaddafi was killed…The flag of al Qaeda flew over the courthouse IN Benghazi.

Obama Versus Obama: Part IV by Thomas Sowell

During the same week when the American ambassador to Libya was murdered and his dead body dragged through the streets by celebrating mobs, the President of the United States found time to go on the David Letterman show to demonstrate his sense of humor and how cool he is.

But Barack Obama did not have time to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the leader of a nation repeatedly threatened with annihilation by Iranian leaders, who are working feverishly toward the creation of nuclear bombs.

This was an extraordinary thing in itself, something that probably no other President of the United States could have gotten away with, without raising a firestorm of criticisms and denunciations. But much of the media sees no evil, hears no evil and speaks no evil when it comes to Barack Obama -- especially during an election year.

Nor was this public rebuff of a publicly requested meeting with Prime Minister Netanyahu unique in its expression of disrespect, if not contempt, for both the man and his country. Despite his glowing assertions of his commitment to Israel, especially in speeches to American Jewish groups, Barack Obama has been working against Israel's interests from his first day in the White House. As in many other contexts, Barack Obama 1 speaks but Barack Obama 2 acts -- often in the opposite direction.

The vision in which Obama has been steeped is one in which white Western nations have oppressed and exploited non-white, non-Western nations, becoming rich and arrogant at other people's expense. It is a vision that calls out, not for justice, but for payback.

When Jeremiah Wright said, "white folks' greed runs a world in need" -- and Obama, by his own account, was moved to tears -- this captured in a few melodramatic words what a whole series of Obama's mentors and allies had been saying for decades. No wonder it resonated with him.

Despite hopes that Barack Obama's election as President of the United States would mark the beginning of a post-racial era in America, no hope was ever so completely doomed from the outset. Anyone who looks beyond Obama's soothing words about race to his record, from his joining self-segregated black students in college to his appointing Al Sharpton as a White House adviser, can see the contrast between rhetoric and reality.

Barack Obama is not the first leader of a nation whose actions reflected some half-baked vision, enveloped in lofty rhetoric and spiced with a huge dose of ego. Nor would he be the first such leader to steer his nation into a historic catastrophe.

In Barack Obama's case, the potential for catastrophe is international in scope, and perhaps irretrievable in its consequences, as he stalls with feckless gestures as terrorist-sponsoring Iran moves toward the production of nuclear bombs.

The rhetoric of Obama 1 says that he will protect Israel but the actions of Obama 2 have in fact protected Iran from an Israeli attack on its nuclear facilities -- until now it is questionable whether Iran's deeply buried nuclear facilities can be destroyed by the Israelis.

Those deeply buried facilities took time to build, and Obama's policies gave them that time, with his lackadaisical approach of seeking United Nations resolutions and international sanctions that never had any serious chance of stopping Iran's movement toward becoming a nuclear power. And Barack Obama had to know that.

In March, Foreign Policy magazine reported that "several high-level sources" in the Obama administration had revealed Israel's secret relationship with Azerbaijan, where Israeli planes could refuel to or from an air strike against Iran's nuclear facilities.

The administration feared "the risks of an Israeli strike on Iran," according to these "high-level sources." Apparently the risks of an Iranian nuclear strike on Israel are not so much feared.

This leak was one of the historic and unconscionable betrayals of an ally whose very existence is threatened. But the media still saw no evil, heard no evil. and spoke no evil.

The only question now is whether the American voters will wake up before it is too late -- not just for Israel, but for America.

Tens of thousands of Israeli troops in surprise Golan drill. Khamenei: No bending to the West

Reservists drafted at no notice, Air Force, Central Command and other IDF units were flown to Israel’s northern Golan border early Wednesday, Sept. 19, for a surprise exercise called by Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz under the codename “National Asset.”
The official IDF announcement tried to downplay its importance, describing it as a “planned, routine event.” However, DEBKAfile’s military sources say the war game is the biggest the IDF has conducted in the six years since the second Lebanon war on Hizballah in 2006, with tens of thousands of soldiers and senior officers, including the artillery and the air force taking part.
Over the last weekend, witnesses reported heavy traffic of convoys of tank and APC carriers and military vehicles with emergency store markings heading north, just days after the IDF completed a large-scale war game on Israel’s Syrian and Lebanese borders simulating a Hizballah attack.
Since early September, therefore, the Israeli Defense Forces have been in the midst of preparations which have the appearance of readiness for a real war rather than an exercise. Those preparations peaked Wednesday under a codename which signified its goal: the defense of national assets.
Another sign of an impending conflict was provided by US diplomats who Monday began destroying classified documents and sensitive equipment at the Beirut embassy. As Islamist anti-US violence raged across Arab and Muslim countries, the State Department said this was a precautionary measure, without naming any specific threat. The trashing of embassy documents usually signifies preparations to evacuate an US embassy at short notice. It would be imperative in a war situation to keep them out of Hizballah hands.

The official IDF announcement described the exercise as focusing on fire power under the command of chief Artillery Commander, Brig. Gen. Ro’i Riftin and due to end Wednesday night. The rapid deployment of military strength on this scale for a live-fire drill is required practice for an army facing the onset of war aggression.
In the Persian Gulf, the US is leading 25 West European and Arab nations in a gigantic 12-day war game in the Straits of Hormuz which began Sunday, Sept 16. It includes a large-scale minesweeping drill to simulate the breaching of the Strait of Hormuz against Iranian efforts to block oil passage through the strategic waterway. The exercise - entirely by simulated measures - will also drill operations for destroying Iranian naval, air and missile bases in the Persian Gulf area and countering Iranian speedboats aiming to sabotage naval vessels and oil tankers.
Among the participants are the UK, France, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The United States has deployed three aircraft carriers with aerial strike forces. Military sources estimate that when the war game ends on Sept 27, these forces will not disperse but stay on hand in the event of Israel attacking Iran’s nuclear program.
As the exhibition of colossal Western might got underway opposite Iranian shores, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was quoted on his official website as saying: Iran will never bend to Western pressure The Islamic Republic, he told a military audience, "makes its decisions solely based on the interests of its people and the country, even if all of the world's powers get angry at its decisions."

It "does not accept the demands of any superpower," he added.

The Ayatollah also accused "Western and Zionist media" of fabricating reports on the biting effects of economic sanctions, hinting that the Iranian economy was not suffering.

Fordo sabotage enabled Netanyahu to move Iran red line to spring 2013

The sabotage of the Fordo uranium enrichment facility’s power lines on Aug. 17 gave Israel Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu extra leeway to move his original red line for Iran from late September 2012 – now – to the spring or early summer of 2013. The disruption of the underground enrichment plant's power supply caused several of the advanced IR-1 and IR-4 centrifuges producing the 20-percent grade uranium to burst into flames. Work was temporarily halted and the accumulation of 240 kilos for Iran’s first nuclear bomb slowed down by at least six months, DEBKAfile’s intelligence sources report.
Hence Netanyahu’s new red line timeline of “late spring, early summer” - before which preventive action is imperative - in his speech to the UN General Assembly Thursday, Sept. 27.
Our military sources report that the advantage gained is already proving short-lived. Iran has pounced back fast with two aggressive counter-moves on Israel’s doorstep:
1. Thousands of elite Al Qods Brigades officers and men are being airlifted into Lebanon and Syria and deployed opposite Israeli borders (as DEBKAfile has reported);

2. Shortly before the Israeli Prime Minister rose to speak in New York, Syrian President Bashar Assad again removed chemical weapons out of storage. Some were almost certainly passed to the incoming Iranian units. The weapons’ movements were accounted for as a precaution for “greater security,” but in practice they will be ready for use against Israel when the order is handed down from Tehran.

Friday, Sept. 28, US Defense Secretary Leon Panetta was specifically asked by a reporter if it was believed that “Iran’s Revolutionary Guards or Syrian rebels had been able to get possession of any of the chemical weapons” which the secretary had just disclosed were on the move. He left the door open, saying only that he had “no firm information to confirm this.” That sort of question never comes out of thin air.

It was also the second time in three weeks that the defense secretary mentioned the movements of Syrian chemical weapons out of storage. This time, he said, ‘‘There has been intelligence that there have been some moves that have taken place. Where exactly that’s taken place, we don’t know.” But he did not rule out the possibility that they were being made ready for use.

This non-denial tied in closely with the words heard that day from US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton:  “Iran has left no doubt that it will do whatever it takes to protect the government of Syrian President Bashar Assad, Tehran’s staunch ally,” she said.
Syrian chemical weapons movements out of storage, the presence of crack Iranian fighting units on Israel’s borders and Tehran’s determination to keep Assad in power “whatever it takes” hung in menacing silence over Netanyahu’s powerful cartoon presentation of the Iranian nuclear peril.
Already on Sept. 16, the Revolutionary Guards chief Gen. Ali Jafary announced publicly that al Qods Brigades personnel had landed not only in Syria but also Lebanon. The chemical weapons may therefore have already reached Hizballah or be on their way there unbeknownst to US intelligence.
Both Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak have repeatedly stated that the transfer of chemical weapons to Hizballah would necessitate Israeli military action.
The IDF’s large-scale military call-up and firing exercise on the Golan of Sept. 19 failed to deter the Iranian military buildup opposite Israeli northern borders in Syria and Lebanon. The Iranian airlift continues and US intelligence has not denied that some al Qods arrivals may now be armed with chemical weapons.
The Iranian threat to Israel is therefore far from static; it is gaining substance and menace, keeping two IDF divisions on call in northern Israel after the exercise was over.
Netanyahu’s red line for preventing Iran achieving a 240-kilo enriched uranium stockpile does not cover an Iranian preemptive attack on the Jewish state before then – as threatened explicitly by the Iranian missiles Corps chief Brig. Gen. Amir Ali Hajizade on Sept. 24.

Neither had Israeli officials anything to say about the Hamas leaders’ trips to Beirut and Tehranthis month to sign military accords with the Revolutionary Guards and Hizballah pledging the Palestinian extremists’ participation in an attack on Israel.
The red line on the cartoon bomb which Netanyahu held up so effectively at the UN Thursday covered only one segment of the peril Tehran poses for the Jewish state. A more immediate danger lurks in the north.

Disaster Ahead

On May 7th, it was revealed that the Obama administration spent $8.35 billion on a “demonstration project” designed to postpone the vast majority of Obamacare’s Medicare Advantage cuts until after the election. On July 31st, it was revealed that the Labor Department warned defense contractors against notifying workers of impending layoffs before the election as well, despite the fact that it would require violating the law to do so. On September 21, it was revealed that a report on the Greek bailout will also be postponed until after the U.S. election. On September 13th, Fed Chief Ben Bernanke announced that he will be pursuing a third round of Quantitative Easing (QE3), once again under the auspices of “stimulating” the economy. The over-arching theme here is clear: anything that constitutes an “inconvenient reality” for this president, especially with respect to economics, will be delayed until after the election.

Thus, the president can continue to campaign on the “heartless” cuts a Romney administration will administer to healthcare in general, and seniors’ healthcare in particular, even as those same seniors remain oblivious to the reality that $7.4 billion will be cut from the Medicare Advantage program in 2013. As a result, enrollees will lose an average of $515 in benefits. Americans remain equally oblivious to the reality that family health insurance premiums have gone up by an average $2,730, despite a 2008 promise Obama made to lower premiums by $2500 by the end of his first term.

With respect to layoffs of employees who work in the defense industry, the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act is quite clear: employers are required to give employees 60 days notice before mass layoffs take place. As a result of the failure of the congressional super-committee to reach a budget deal during the debt ceiling negotiations last August, automatic cuts in defense spending, aka sequestration, are scheduled to kick in on January 2nd. If the WARN Act were enforced, thousands of defense employees would receive their layoff notices on November 3rd–three days before the election.

Enter the Labor Department, which released new “guidelines” on July 30th, in which the rationale for delaying the notices is the idea that “[A]lthough it is currently known that sequestration may occur, it is also known that efforts are being made to avoid sequestration. Thus even the occurrence of sequestration is not necessary foreseeable.” As a result it “would be inappropriate” to notify the affected workers. That would be the same Department of Labor which previously concluded it had “no administrative or enforcement responsibility under [the WARN Act]” and “cannot provide specific advice or guidance with respect to individual situations.” Apparently when there’s an election at stake, anything is possible, even if the rule of law is tossed aside in the process.

With respect to Greece and the rest of the European Union, keeping the welfare state scheme from imploding is a task becoming more daunting with each passing day. The Daily Mail reveals that Greece’s debt is double what that nation had previously claimed, standing at a staggering $25 billion. Greece denied the report, and the resulting disagreement had the desired effect: despite the European Commission wanting a final decision on a Greek bailout to take place at the next EU summit on October 18th and 19th, Germany insists that reliable figures needed to determine the next move won’t be available “until November.” Undoubtedly that means November 7th at the earliest.

Skirting Obama booby traps on the march of the last mile

It’s the last mile to America’s most crucial election, and the pathway is strewn with Obama booby traps.

Path trodders avoid all bumps in the road and stay on track!

Walk straight, walk tall and don’t let anybody stop you from what you know you have to do.

Thirty-nine days away and manufactured distractions are coming at you from every which way. 

Obama who has thrown and is throwing a thousand and one atrocities at the American public, will do no worse today than he’s done yesterday and all along.

Like the Big Marxist Lie, the die has already been cast.  Everything that had to be said has already been said and has been recycled by a fraudulent mainstream media.  Folks already know for whom they are going to vote, in fact some have already cast their votes.

Upcoming presidential debates won’t change anything, even though ego-driven mainstream media hosts will try to make you believe otherwise.  For all but the wishy-washy, minds have already been made up.

The only thing left is not allowing anything or anybody stop you from getting out and casting your vote, one of the few freedoms still standing after four years of Barack Hussein Obama.

Don’t allow the news of the day depress you. It is part of the plan to demoralize you.  Don’t get waylaid along the way by those hanging on to their free telephone like it is a lifeline.  Don’t look behind you; don’t look away, don’t lose your focus.  Keep a mental picture of your children and grandchildren in mind between now and whenever you get to exercise your vote.

On the way to the voting booth, you’ve being pummeled with faux poll results.  The truth about the polls—they’re skewed—is the same truth about the presidential election.  It’s not just another election, it is in fact the end of the line if the activist president who wants to fundamentally transform America gets four more years to continue his evil and deliberate mission.

Like the propaganda dished out daily by the mainstream media, the skewed polls serve only Obama and Obama election team strategy.

They create the perception that only Obama is in the presidential race; that only Obama can win.

Skewed polls aim to demoralize Americans seeking deliverance from Obama’s Marxist misery. 

They bring on a call from the other side that Romney will win in a landslide.  This leaves the false and deadly perception that Romney doesn’t need your vote on Election Day, as he is going to win anyway.

But perhaps most cunning of all, dissemination of the skewed polls is a concerted effort to make a soft landing for what they think is a coming Obama landslide.

Before shock on the outcome of an election with Obama winning by a wide margin can take hold, the Democrats and the media will be reminding you that this was long coming, “You could have seen it in the polls”.

Though America seems in a trance walking dutifully toward its carefully crafted Obama-planned death, the outcome of the poll that matters is not, and was never inevitable.

That’s because the poll that matters most is the one they count up when polls close on Election Night.

To get there from here, discount all the white noise created by the talking heads.  They know no more than you do.  They just have the byline, the mic and the television camera.

Frustration among the masses is at an all time high.

Let the need for survival trump frustration.

The Free Stuff crowd will have to be prodded to get out and vote.  Industriousness and passion are not their forte.  They’re fighting to maintain an Obama phone and a government check.  The other side is fighting off Marxism and clinging to the kind of freedom that comes from God-given rights.

Don’t even let what Mitt Romney is saying out on the campaign trail turn you away from determination to take your country back.  You know in your heart that Obama is not a nice guy.  You know in your core that the media IS in the tank for Obama.

The time to nail Romney for naive or stupid things said out on the campaign trail is AFTER his election when We the People are back in charge.

March on to the election voting booth looking only straight ahead at November 6 like it’s the light at the end of the long dark tunnel.  Let no second guessing, misgiving or anything any talking head says deter you.

For those still worried about a manufactured crisis being used to suspend elections.  The good news is that they’ve fumbled the ball on all attempts so far, including blaming a video no one saw on a Sept. 11 terrorist attack in Libya.

While Obama and Muslim Brotherhood pals mull over coming up with ways to suspend the election if guaranteed victory is not the only outcome, the American public can suspend Obama in time by writing his end chapter.  After that final chapter has been written, Obama will be just another despot tossed into the dustbin of history.

The ONLY way to get rid of the curse of Obama is to vote him out.

France approves new budget setting 75% tax on ‘super rich’

Alternate headline: Francois Hollande on the verge of ensuring Warren Buffett, some of his rich friends and selectcelebrities who are begging pay higher taxes will never move to France:

President Francois Hollande’s Socialist government unveiled sharp tax hikes on business and the rich on Friday in a 2013 budget aimed at showing France has the fiscal rigor to remain at the core of the euro zone.

The package will recoup 30 billion euros ($39 billion) for the public purse with a goal of narrowing the deficit to 3.0 percent of national output next year from 4.5 percent this year – France’s toughest single belt-tightening in 30 years.

But with record unemployment and a barrage of data pointing to economic stagnation, there are fears the deficit target will slip as France falls short of the modest 0.8 percent economic growth rate on which it is banking for next year.

To the dismay of business leaders who fear an exodus of top talent, the government confirmed a temporary 75 percent super-tax rate for earnings over one million euros and a new 45 percent band for revenues over 150,000 euros.

Together, those two measures are predicted to bring in around half a billion euros. Higher tax rates on dividends and other investments, plus cuts to existing tax breaks are seen bringing in several billion more.

They’re counting their chickens before they’ve crossed the road into other countries. Those tax haul estimates are provided the “super rich” and businesses don’t flee to more welcoming tax climes — which won’t be difficult:

If you have a US passport then you are subject to US taxation (you might not have to pay any because of a low income, but you’re still subject to those tax laws). It doesn’t matter where you live in the world you still cough up to Uncle Sam. The only way out of this, the only way to “avoid” such US taxation is to give up your US citizenship. At which point the Feds will charge you all of the tax you would ever have paid anyway. So avoiding US taxation by leaving the country isn’t really an option: there is no “exit” possibility as the economists like to say. This will clearly and obviously lower that e2 value, the amount of avoidance that anyone can do in the face of higher tax rates.

However, the French tax system is, indeed all of the EU tax systems individually are, based upon residence. If today you live in Lille then you pay French tax. If tomorrow you move to London then you are subject to UK tax laws, not those of France. You do not have to change citizenship, do not require a permit or permission to do this, you just buy a train ticket and 90 minutes or so later there you are. Free of the French tax system. The value of e2 is going to be rather different in such circumstances. When there is an easy and simple exit from the entire system available at the cost of perhaps 90 euros.

France is already losing its richest person over this, and more will follow.

Hollande has said the 75 percent upper tax rate would last “around two years.” The vague, open-ended expiration date isn’t likely to convince the wealthy who are on the verge of moving to stick it out and “take one for the team” for an unspecified amount of time.

Workers give up in Los Angeles

NEW YORK (CNNMoney) -- The unemployment rate has been falling lately in Los Angeles County, but not for the right reasons.

Last month, the jobless rate for the county fell to 11%, down from 12.4% a year earlier.

While that's far higher than the 8.1% unemployment rate for the nation as a whole, it nevertheless seems to show progress for the City of Angels... right?

Wrong. In Los Angeles, the falling unemployment rate is slightly misleading, just as it has been for the country overall.

When surveyed by the government, fewer L.A. residents say they're unemployed compared to a year ago. But it's not because they're finding jobs. It's because they're dropping out of the labor force altogether.

Just over 100,000 of workers have left the Los Angeles labor force since the beginning of the year, according to seasonally adjusted data from the California Employment Development Department.

The decline stands in stark contrast to other major metropolitan areas. New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., and San Francisco are all seeing their labor forces grow.

So what's going on in Southern California?

The real estate boom and bust hurt L.A. far more dramatically than those other cities, and a lack of construction jobs may partially explain why some workers have stopped looking for employment. Construction jobs have recently started to come back slowly, but in L.A. they're still off by about 50,000 jobs from 2007 levels.

Other large Western cities affected by the housing bust, like Las Vegas and Phoenix, have also reported declining unemployment rates over the last year, partly due to their shrinking labor force.

Check the unemployment rate in your state

The overall job numbers in Los Angeles are also heavily influenced by its immigrant population. As job opportunities have waned, particularly in low-skill sectors, so too has immigration to the city. Data from the Pew Hispanic Center shows immigration numbers have dwindled and vast numbers of Mexican immigrants have returned to Mexico

"In general, these folks have been moving back or simply not coming back as they have before, because the opportunities, particularly in the construction industry, are simply not as they used to be," said Christopher Thornberg, founding partner of Beacon Economics, a firm based in Los Angeles.

The "labor force" refers both to people who are working, as well as those who are actively searching for jobs. People who are retired, enrolled in college or staying home to take care of relatives are not included in the category.

When the labor force declines, it can be the result of a broad demographic trend -- for example, more Baby Boomers retiring, or more young people enrolling in college -- or it can be a worrisome sign of people getting discouraged, moving away and giving up on the job market altogether.

The latter seems to be the case in Los Angeles.

"This local economy has now gone through a couple of very severe cycles over the last 20 years, and we are concerned," said Robert Kleinhenz, chief economist at the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation. "We still have double digit unemployment rates here."

Buy or rent? Los Angeles

Still, economists caution not to look just at one piece of data. Los Angeles County residents say they have fewer jobs than they did a year ago, but when the government surveyed employers last month, companies reported creating 74,000 jobs over the year -- the largest increase in a decade.

"You've got to reconcile the shrinking labor force with the growing number of jobs, which is a conundrum," said Steve Levy, director and senior economist of the Center for Continuing Study of the California Economy.

Part of the disparity could mean that commuters, who live outside the county, are getting the new jobs that are being created.
