A million protesters for social justice?

Final preparations are being made ahead of Saturday night's mass social protests across Israel, as organizers hope a million protesters will join the rallies.

Protest movement spokesman Roi Noiman called all Israelis to "come out of their houses" and seize this great opportunity "to take back their rights."

"All of us, together, will turn this concept of social justice into something substantial, which cannot be ignored," Noiman added.

Meanwhile, police and emergency services are on high alert, getting ready for the expected mass rally in Tel Aviv. Contrary to past protests held at the Tel Aviv Museum square, Saturday's rally will be held in Kikar Hamedina, the city's high end shopping district.

Police forces are expected to block off major streets in the city and parts of Ayalon Highway leading to Tel Aviv as early as 5 pm.

Another mass protest will be held in Jerusalem, as demonstrators plan to march from Gan Hasus located in the center of the city towards Paris Square near the home of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Other rallies will be held in Haifa and Afula, as protest organizers hope at least 30,000 take to the streets.
