Rather than moaning the loss of America, the focus should be How to Survive Obama’s America.Family First not First Family
“America did not die tonight. It was born tonight.” (Bill Whittle, YouTube, Nov. 6, 2012). Like many who were in bitter tears election night, I would not have had the patience or even the wherewithal to watch Whittle’s lengthy but brilliant YouTube on Tuesday. We all need the plain commonsense of his advice: “Don’t fight City Hall. Pass it by.” Getting into the right head space is the first tool you will need for mental survival. Big Obama gloating is on the way, details now being worked out by Hollywood and astroturf. Moochelle is likely deciding right now what to wear before coming before the American people to kickstart ‘The Big Gloat’. It is now four days after the bad news of Obama’s re-election. It is time to leave the negative naysayers; the ones who insist on telling you that “It’s all over”; that “America is dead” far behind. As long as Americans live and breathe, America cannot be dead. Cheered on by roughly one half the country, Obama became the captain of the Titanic, and is now on a direct route to an iceberg called the U.S. A. Let the captain plow his way through nautical miles. Let him go. You choose a different direction by going down to the water’sedge to ascertain that your humble, little wooden rowboat is lake worthy in case you need it for getting up river to the next town, fishing for supper, or even summer recreation. The big ship may have sailed, but you and your family are still here. Rather than moaning the loss of America, the focus should be How to Survive Obama’s America. The devil, of course is always in the details. Go back to what your forefathers did to survive in centuries past. Start your own movement. The movements that matter most are those that don’t depend on attracting large numbers; or outlays of money; ones that work in the background without the risk that comes from the growth of outside publicity. A good name for the new movement that could be started by the 60 million Americans left ashore by Tuesday’s Election, is Family First, a reversal of the status stolen by the Obamas: First Family. In essence, it’s built on a Back to Basics structure that has kept the world going since time immortal: the community, the cell. It starts by choosing a warden of the type used during World War II. Neighbourhoods should get together and each choose a warden, a ‘community organizer’. Cancel your media subscriptions. Why pay to be tormented? Cut off all trash coming at you from cable television, Reality TV where down-and-out people lose their cars and furniture to repos while viewers watch. Watch movies on DVDs that you trade among your relatives and neighbours. Talk to your own children each evening when they come home from school. That is your only way to keep the history of America, America’s story alive in your children’s’ hearts. Free yourself from all bitterness. Find a church that leans on Scripture rather than social justice, even if you have to hitchhike or car pool just to get there. Stop rehashing the election results. It’s over. The enemy won. Pioneer new ideas to get out of the Obama box. There is no time for rehashing the past. Reach out and find people of like mind and stay in touch. Never give up because they are there. You are not alone. Be grateful for what you have. Ignore negative people and argue with no one. Don’t believe conspiracy theorists making money by frightening the masses. Not even the evil Marxists now controlling the White House can kill off or disappear millions of people at a time. Hunker down. Follow Whittle’s advice to “always obey the letter of the law”. “Never break the law. Never talk about breaking the law.” When the Titanic hits the iceberg, you will be far away safe in your own living quarters. Family First. Community Organizers with a positive agenda. It’s the way out of the dark. To be continued… |
