When not in public, President Obama wears a beanie with a little propeller on top

Though I have long-held the theory that, when not in public, President Obama wears a beanie with a little propeller on top, the events that continue to unfold under his administration have convinced me I am correct and never need to see an actual photo.
There’s a grab-bag of fumbled theories, failed policies, ill-conceived ideas, and nearly five years into his presidency he still comes across as a carnival barker instead of a leader or an executive, baring the reality that he is the trophy of a successful marketing campaign and nothing more than an apparition somebody, someway, somehow convinced Americans was a reality.
Forget smoke and mirrors, the fact that he claims to be black instead of Muslim. This guy is pure vapor.
It would be easy to take another shot at his corrupt pathology and the scandals that continue to rock him daily, or to mock appointees like Kathleen Sebelius, or the Munchkin spokes-boy Jay Carney, the criminally insane and complicit Hillary Clinton during her tenure, ordering the IRS to illegally overreach to steal an election by impeding the opposition the right to even assemble, allowing an attorney general to “investigate” himself, and an NSA that not only spies on Americans, but remains fixated on our allied leaders to such an extent that it files reports on the bathroom habits of Germany’s Angela Merkel.
Instead, we must seriously analyze the newest diversion from the deranged fiscal mind of Mr. Mysterious, and that is the proposal with respect to hiking the minimum wage while simultaneously trying to advance new legislation to “legalize”, “illegal” aliens.
President Bush was alleged to have eaten kittens. Therefore he is guilty of everything. Or not.
The Obama administration has gotten the media to suggest there are 12 million illegal aliens in the country, while more reputable sources place that number closer to 30 million.  What’s the difference?  They don’t belong here in the first place, and should be extricated as any other country would do so, provided they didn’t incarcerate them first.
So?  Here we go.  This will not be a policy session, a public relations maneuver, nor a dodge, but instead just a straight-up assessment of lunacy:  the president wants to simultaneously  grant illegal aliens amnesty while also increasing the minimum wage by 19.5%, with an ultimate goal of increasing minimum wage by 29% over the next two years.
That is such a sophomoric formula, it makes me wish we had Rain Man sitting in the Oval Office, and here’s why:  the over-supply of illegal alien labor smothers demand, thereby keeping wages low.  There is nothing Constitutionally provided that suggests the federal government should regulate wages, so, why is this supposed Constitutional Scholar proposing we do so?  Moreover, has anyone ever told him one can’t pull on both sides of a rope?
Let’s increase minimum wage to a $9.00 an hour.  Here we go again:  a violation of my “RULE OF ROUND NUMBERS.”  With a quick refresher the rule works like this, and exposes the fraudulent proposal.  If it was a well-reasoned and researched theory, the number would be $8.79 or $9.13.  Nope.  Nine bucks an hour.  People will like it.  Good for a nice sound bite.  Get out there, Pinnochio, and, by the way, tell them Gepetto says hello.
In order to increase minimum wage by nearly 20%, a company would have to, hmmmmm, make 20% more revenue would it not?  If that company cannot make 20% more revenue it will do what?  Lay off more people in order to meet the artificially inflated and politically expedient number, a number once again, that is pulled out of thin air.
If the company meets that minimum wage demand and keeps all its employees, it becomes unprofitable at the very least, but cannot hire more workers.  Yet, this Mickey Mouse president truly doesn’t understand this very uncomplicated equation, AND, wants the minimum wage set higher within two years and babbles on about creating jobs.  It’s called trickle-down egalitarianism.

Meanwhile, let’s make the illegals, legal.  Is anyone else starting to see the king is wearing no clothes?Free, unregulated markets have been proven empirically to be successful.  The reason the economies of Europe and countries like Greece have declined in prominence over the years, and coincidentally set the template Obama follows (when he’s not following Russia’s) is that they believe in Keynesian Theory.  Interpretation?  Give the government all your money and they’ll decide who gets what.
Nobel Prize recipient Milton Friedman, by contrast, stated the less regulation the better, the less government intervention the better, allow supply and demand to meet one another and production will thrive or ebb and fall on its own.  In a twist of irony…..don’t make me BUY your health care, just allow me to shop at will until I find a price I find competitive.  That open market will eventually find equilibrium through a simple supply and demand process, but it does not nor is it prescribed to be the role of the federal government who wins or who loses.
The noodle-spined media in this country tossed its credibility into the ditch years ago, and really is nothing more than an ad agency for the party they endorse, and FOX News squandered its opportunity and is now nothing more than, well, a regurgitation operation.  I don’t need them to tell me what the president just said, I would expect them to think, for crying out loud.  No.  They just put another gal out there in another pretty dress and nothing but bubbles come out of their mouths.
Clearly, the news has become entertainment, but has nothing to do with journalism.
What are the ramifications?  Well?  If you have an inept media, reporting on a dysfunctional administration, a similarly irresponsible congressional assembly, and giving that news to an increasingly illiterate populace littered with illegal aliens?  You have a picture of America today…………………or at the very least:  Detroit as a template with the United States to follow.
Economic Theory.  Economic professors.  Who needs an economist to tell anyone you can’t spend more money than you make without running into peril, yet, these posers are considered  profound consultants.  For what?  To tell us what happened yesterday and why it will happen again unless we change?  Some university actually gave you a degree for that type of dribble?  We have quantitative easing (printing money), fairness (higher taxes), continuing resolutions (putting off the inevitable), and a man at the helm who couldn’t drive a nail through a soft piece of butter.
Maybe I’m wrong.  Maybe I should start spending twice as much as I make and blame others when it doesn’t work out.
Or better yet.  I’ll just blame George Bush.
