Dan Bubalo: A Government-Sponsored Existence

It is very difficult for Conservatives and Republicans to present arguments that have much chance of changing the thinking of far-left leaning liberals and those who believe life consists of a government-sponsored existence, especially when many of them are unsure if Martin Sheen served as president before or after Bill Clinton.
Don’t think for a moment, however, that the likes of Pelosi, Reid, Obama, and enabling party members bent on peddling dependency don’t have a significant portion of their constituents right where they want them:  partially literate, excitable, gullible, fueled by emotions as opposed to facts, and parroting insipid sound-bites as a substitute for reasoning, a veritable dream come true for the arrogant gentry who manipulate by means of offering greater government sustenance, and are too reluctant to instruct or challenge for fear of losing control.
The intoxicant of power combined with an omniscient ruling class mentality is not confined to the cloistered inner Beltway, and extends to four prominent mayors, from a narrow-minded and incendiary spewing bigot tossing down threats against a respected domestic restaurant chain in San Francisco, to a bloated and vociferous booze-hound Bostonian, and the gay blade of Chicago, although when one remains a long-standing member of the most renowned bathhouse in the Windy City it is easy to understand why the morals of a chicken executive would cause such reflexive bluster and chafing.
Yet, the worst of the worst, the poster child of pompousness, is Michael Bloomberg, a man so disengaged with reality, deluded with respect to the true definition of his position, and brimming with so much flatulence that he has jettisoned his limousine and now merely floats over all five boroughs, for there is no precedent or codification that allows him to arbitrarily set standards for soft drink consumption, nor is there any foundation whatsoever for him to advise mothers on nurturing and the benefits of breast feeding vis a vis the use of formula.  And, while NOW has remained conspicuously mute during this absurd assault on women’s individual and personal freedom, Bloomberg has done nothing to dissuade those who believe him to be an unmitigated gas bag after last week, suggesting on the heels of the mass-murder in Colorado that  police across the country go on strike until all guns have been confiscated.
I have a better idea, Mike:  why don’t all mayors go on strike to see how much more efficiently cities run without puffed up posers hampering development with heavy-handed dictates.
There are over 300 million people in the United States, and in no other serious discipline where facts rule over drama, from science, to math, and commerce, is an isolated instance or statistical aberration regarded as a serious sample upon which to make decisions or draw conclusions.  In the regrettable circumstances of the recentColorado shootings we are talking about an isolated gunman, who comprises less than 0.0000000003% of the population, which clearly shows another type of insanity among those in government who exploited the tragedy for an instantaneous platform of exerting greater control over people’s lives under the guise of doing something noble, when in fact, the hidden agenda is to subjectively decide which freedoms are next to be curtailed.
There are several components of management at which Mr. Obama is either grossly deficient or does not care to learn, which proves why the presidency should not be a popularity contest and most assuredly not one conducive to on-the-job-training, which I thought the country learned from the Jimmy Carter Experiment, and it’s obvious the problems are exacerbated when it’s one first real job.  Everyone in an executive position should have a vision and that particular vision grows symbiotically from an ideology.  Where Mr. Obama comes up completely empty again and again, however, is that he does not understand the means by which a vision is implemented, for there are a series of management considerations and strategies that must be explained, addressed, and presented in order to see a plan to fulfillment, or, at the very least, a cogent idea presented which might be debated.
When the Chief Executive of the world’s most powerful and successful country does not know the difference between “strategy” and “stratagem”, unfortunately, he acts recklessly and unilaterally and does not call for a staff meeting in over six months.  He sneers at entrepreneurs and feels qualified to talk to large and small business owners as if he was a titan of industry, or, say, as successful as Mitt Romney .…………leading to the conclusion he fancies himself a ruler, a king, who snaps his fingers and expects results, for he has no frame of reference with which to deal with opposing opinions, and instead, is content to disparage that which he does not understand as a shield to protect his ignorance and inexperience.
He is secretive about virtually everything in his past, and because he is too cowardly or would be exposed as masquerading as one he truly is not, he does nothing to quell speculation, although through his crack, opposition research team we all know what color socks Mr. Romney sported in high school, while having no explanations to this date that clarify Mr. Obama’s mysterious background, much less his proclivities to indulging anything that strengthens the stronghold of radical Muslims worldwide.
In his own words during an interview with George Stephanopoulos prior to the 2008 election he thanked his opponent, John McCain, for not exploiting his Muslim religion.  George, ever the boot-licker, reminded Obama that he purported to be a Christian at that time.  Maybe I’m being too critical.  Perhaps Christians misidentify themselves as Muslims more than I know, but, if Mr. Obama, in his own words, refers to himself as a Muslim, he is therefore obligated to follow jihad, and if he is obligated to follow jihad, it might explain why he has seen no reason to clarify his murky past and why he has carpet-bombed our sacred beliefs and institutions for nearly four straight years.  Obscene and shiftless economic policies will have added $7 Trillion to the national debt by the end of his first term, he actively endorses drones for domestic spying, has enabled radical elements to acquire unthinkable strongholds throughout northern Africa and the Middle East, sues sovereign states, abuses executive privilege, allows a criminal element to exist in the Justice Department, independently re-writes welfare and immigration legislation, and increasingly empowers an arrogant director of Homeland Security.  It is no small wonder his reelection campaign consists of attempts to denigrate and belittle his opponent as opposed to distinguishing himself as deserving of another term.
That might pass for his version of policy, but it smells suspiciously like something else to me, and to everyone else who bought a Chick-Fil-A sandwich in the past week.
